Hello Coaches, my name is Haeden Baker. I am a 17- year-old high school Senior . I play Middle Blocker/ Middle Hitter on 951 Elite Girls 18-1's team in Murrieta, California.

I have been playing volleyball for five years and realized in 8th grade that it was something I was passionate about. I started playing club volleyball that year and have never looked back. This is my fourth year playing club volleyball and I have just started my fourth season as a starter on my high school varsity team.

My desire is to play highly competitive volleyball with like minded teamates that support each other and hold each other accountable.
I strive daily to grow and challenge myself. When I’m not at practice with my team, I’m in the gym at Quick Fit training facility, focused on strength training and plyometrics to take my game to the next level.

Building trust and respect with my teammates is important to me. I do this by using encouraging words on and off the court and spending time building relationships off the court, too. Building trust with my coach is also a high priority, which I do by listening to and incorporating feedback. I know that consistently showing up as the best version of myself by fueling my body well and making the decision to practice and compete with a growth mindset and determination is one of the best ways to show up for my team and my coach as well. My success is their success.

I attend Hemet High School in Hemet, California. My current GPA is 3.8. AP Psychology is my favorite class and has reinforced my desire to pursue a career in the field of Psychology. I also participate in PLUS Leadership as a student ambassador and am a member of the Chess Club.

In my spare time, I enjoy being outside - longboarding with my dog, Dixie, or walking with my other three dogs, hiking in Idyllwild near my home, or playing volleyball at the beach. I am also a certified lifeguard, volunteering at local school events and working at the Valley Wide Parks District Aquatic Center during the summers. When I’m not outside, I am reading manga, watching anime, or playing board games and video games with friends and family. I really love to spend time with my friends at youth group.
